Alvin Witarsa is a music producer & composer for film, media and live performance. He has just won the best producer of children music category from Indonesian Music Award 2022 & 2023. Last year Alvin has scored an Indonesia well-known musical movie Petualangan Sherina 2 as co-composer and co-producer for the movie soundtracks.

Alvin has a vast area of musical experiences. Ranging from orchestra leader (concertmaster) for many live concerts, as well as a session recording violinist since early 2000s. He and his ensemble have been touring across Indonesia with Tulus, Rossa, Kahitna, Burgerkill, Stars & Rabbit. He also has produced & arranged a vast number of pop songs from many Indonesian & Malaysian top artists for the last 15 years. In 2023 he led his orchestra, ALchestra, in concert with Project Pop x Alvin Witarsa at IIMS, Billions Songs of Yovie Widianto concert, and Noah Circus Concerto, among many others.

This October Alvin will be conducting ALchestra on Synchronize Fest 2024 along with Indonesian metal band Burgerkill.

Since 2023, Alvin has been appointed by the Ministry of Cultural, Education Research and Technology to coach Gita Bahana Nusantara, a national-selected youth orchestra to perform every year at Indonesia National Palace and also as their orchestra arranger.

Alvin is the founder of ALchestra, Indonesian pop orchestra and CEO of AWsome studio, a full service music & score production company.
